Hanyang University (HYU) is a private research institution in South Korea with two campuses: the main campus in Seoul and the ERICA campus in Ansan.
Founded in 1939 as DongA Engineering Institute, it established Korea's first engineering, architecture, and civil engineering schools. Its motto is "Love in Deed and Truth."
