Whilst the APAIE 2025 organisers will do their best to assist and share information on the visa process, the granting or denying of any individual visa application lies with the Government of India. Every individual is responsible for their own visa application.
The APAIE 2025 Conference and Exhibition event is registered with India’s Ministry of Home Affairs to facilitate visa applications in the business-conference category for APAIE 2025 delegates. Specific documents are required from the APAIE 2025 event organisers to apply for the business-conference visa, with a different process for e-visa and paper visa applications. Please check the following to determine which type of visa applies to you, and follow the applicable process.
If you do not see the country/region of your passport on this page, please contact: info@APAIEconference.net.
Note on terminology: Variations on “conference visa”, such as “business-conference visa”, have the same meaning. Similarly, variations on “e-visa”, such as “eVisa”, have the same meaning.

To align with the period of eligibility of the e-visa, applications can’t take place until January 2025. Therefore, the APAIE 2025 event organisers will send out instructions to apply for the business-conference e-visa, along with the documents you need, in January. To receive these instructions and documents, you must be registered for APAIE 2025.
Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan passport holders need to apply for a paper visa. In order to facilitate this process, the APAIE 2025 organisers are required to collect further details and submit these to India's Ministry of External Affairs, to request pre-approval. Delegates need to take their pre-approval to their in-person visa appointment with their local Indian consulate.
It is vital that anyone planning to attend or even thinking about attending APAIE 2025, submit their details to be included on the list. The strict deadline to submit your details is December 13th, 2024. The APAIE 2025 organisers can only submit the list of delegates’ details once, so if you are not on that list, you are unable to apply for the business-conference visa.
To get on the list, please submit the requested information via this form: Registration of Interest to attend APAIE 2025 by the deadline of December 13th, 2024. Note, completing and submitting the form does not create an obligation to register for the APAIE 2025 event, which is a separate process. If your visa application is unsuccessful and you have already registered for APAIE 2025, you are entitled to a full refund of the registration fee and workshop fee (if applicable).
Please help to spread the word about this process to your colleagues who are in this category.
